Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, WhateverGiving… You’ll Need A Cute Outfit!

So this time of year (minus Miami’s 90-degree weather) is my favorite time of year. There’s pumpkin spice everything and cinnamon being sprinkled everywhere. But, my absolute favorite thing about fall is Thanksgiving. I mean a holiday dedicated to sharing a spectacular meal with your favorite people, what else could be better?! Since you’ll be eating, oops I mean overeating, you’ll need some choices. Suki to the rescue!

It is slightly frowned upon to wear yoga pants to Thanksgiving dinner.

But, do you know places like Gap have these super cute, stretchy leggings that look like nice pants??? So to the outside world, it’ll look like you’re wearing your fancy pants, but in your heart, you’ll know that they are just glorified yoga pants. (We all have to have secrets, right??!!) I promise no one will figure it out, especially if you pair with a cute, flowy blouse and killer shoes. All you will have to worry about is getting those mashed potatoes passed around to you again!

Were you thinking of a dress?

So many options when it comes to my favorite article of clothing. You can do a flared hem, which automatically covers your lower stomach while cinching in your waist. You can do bohemian chic, with a caftan look and feathered earrings. If you are choosing a fitted dress, pair it with a long necklace. Why you may ask? I’ll let you in on a little secret… a long piece of jewelry will draw the eye vertically, which will make you appear longer (and slimmer). A win-win if you ask me!

Holiday Challenge… Will you accept it?

The holiday season is pretty much in full swing. To save some money, I challenge you to shop your closet for your Friendsgiving/Thanksgiving outfit. I bet if you really look hard enough, you could totally find something to rock for this awesome holiday. Focus on the food and family part this time around. Whatever you decide to wear, I am sure you will look gorgeous in it. Make sure to tag me with your outfit choices! Can’t wait to see them… and EAT!!!
