Back to School Shenanigans is over and now, it’s Momma’s turn to shop! On Thursday, August 29, Miami Mom’s Blog hosted their 2nd annual Sip and Shop Event at Kendra Scott. Moms were able to sip on champagne while shopping for their favorite accessories. It was a wonderful night for moms to connect.
A Break from Hurricane Preparations
We had a massive hurricane headed our way. However, it was nice to see moms take a break from their hurricane preparations to come shop. Luckily, the weather was in our favor that night and this location was conveniently located inside Brickell City Centre with underground parking, so getting wet was never an option.
The VIP Experience
We had all completed back to school purchases for our kids. It was nice to see so many moms getting the VIP experience and buying something for themselves for a change. From the moment guests walked in they were greeted with a beautiful balloon garland made by Vero Balloon.
Cle Facial Bar provided mini facials that left everyone feeling refreshed and ready to tackle this new school year. We also had one of Miami Moms Blog’s very own contributors and Mary Kay top seller, Dacia Wiegandt offering make up lessons and tips. Moms were able to have fun as they shopped. We even had a super fun photo booth provided by Elite Photo Booth South Florida.
The Swag Bags
Moms went back home with a Swag Bag full of goodies. Inside they had a Kendra Scott nail polish, CBD oil samples from the Green Company. Also included was the cutest head bands from Lolo Headbands, Cuban Style Merenguitos from Table of Sweets, Smarty Pants Multi Vitamins, and a special 20% coupon from Kendra Scott for the new arrivals coming this Fall. All of this was perfectly packaged in a stunning Kendra Scott Bag.
The Giveaways
These giveaways were out of this world! Kendra Scott provided two items, one pair of earrings and one necklace, Cle Facial Bar provided a Complimentary Facial Certificate, and two floral arrangements perfectly curated by Passion Flowers Ventures.
Giving Back to Our Community
Supporting moms in Miami is our #1 priority and we have partnered with the Miami Diaper Bank to help those moms and babies in need. The Miami Diaper Bank was a part of this amazing event collecting packs of diapers and donations. Moms who brought a pack of diapers to help us reach our goal of 10,000 diapers received an extra giveaway ticket.
Moms Unite
The purpose of Miami Moms Blog is to provide relevant resources and meaningful community for moms in Miami. Creating these events allow moms to meet and encourage each other in this adventure we call motherhood. You are not alone Momma. We are here for you!
