Hope: Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, proudly announces the return of the highly
anticipated fall event… our 23rd Annual Pumpkin Patch! The Pumpkin Patch will be held
October 1st – 31st, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. – 9:00 P.M. Our pumpkin shipments arrive at 4:00 P.M.
on October 1st, 13th, and 22nd. Students needing volunteer hours can sign up online at
www.hopemlumc.com/pumpkin-patch. General admission is $4 on Monday-Thursday, and
$6 on Friday-Sunday, as we’re planning lots of fun entertainment on the weekends. Children
12 years and under obtain free admission with a paying adult.
Admission price includes a $2 pumpkin buck toward the pumpkin, or gourd of your choice
that exceeds $2. This year, we will have beautiful pumpkins of all sizes, delicious baked
goods, weekend performances with our Pumpkin Patch Princess, gourmet hot dogs, shaved
ice, and digital photography for sale. Through proceeds from the Annual Pumpkin Patch—
and in partnership with Feeding South Florida— our church was able to provide food for
hundreds of families, each week during the pandemic. The Pumpkin Patch is our major
fundraising event of the year and our main source of funding for community outreaches and
missions. We would like to thank you in advance for your support and patronage.
As part of our Pumpkin Patch offerings, Flanigan’s Dinner and Show of Illusion will be held on
Saturday, October 23rd. Both adults and children love this event each year! Adult admission
to both activities is $12. Children admission for 12 years and under is $6. The show begins at
6:30pm. Dinner will be available from Flanigan’s Food Truck from 5:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. and
may be picked up either, before or after the show. If you’d like to attend the show only, the
cost is $5 per person at the door. To purchase your tickets in advance visit our church office
or call (305) 821-7274. Tickets will also be available at the Pumpkin Patch Sales Center and
onsite, the night of the event.
School Field Trips will be held every weekday morning, beginning Monday, October 4th-
Friday, October 29th. There will be a playground with tunnels and landings, an awesome
obstacle course, jokes, songs, and our popular Moo Maze. All our activities are sure to
entertain and educate children up to 4th grade. The cost is $8.00 per child and includes all
the interactive activities, songs, refreshments (cookies, lemonade or water), a miniature
pumpkin, a goodie bag including a coin for a free kids meal at any Flanigan’s restaurant,
