We all need a bit of a sweet treat here and there. Chocolate has that wonderful effect to bring up back to calm in seconds. Here is my favorite treat to fill me up, satisfy my sweet tooth, and gives me total nutrition in every decadent bite. This recipe comes straight from the pages of my new book, SuperPowers of the Family Kitchen p. 155!
Here’s what you’ll need for this recipe:
2 Cups Dates
1 Cup Raw Cashews
1/2 Cup Raw Sunflower Seeds
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
1 Scoop Protein Powder (either vanilla or chocolate)**
1/4 Cup Raw Powdered Cacao
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
2 Tablespoons Honey
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Make it:
In a Food Processor finely chop the dates, cashews, and sunflower seeds. Next, add in the rest of the ingredients and blend up until you have a smooth doughy texture. Roll into a one-inch ball and then roll onto additional shredded coconut for an outer coating. Place on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper and let set in the refrigerator for about an hour. Store in an airtight container and Enjoy!
**If you LOVE chocolate, use the Superfoods Mix Chocolate Protein found HERE (or their vanilla is just as good)
Bon Appetite!

This looks so good!
