Let’s Do Brunch: 5 of the Best Local Family-Friendly Brunch Spots

4

Before becoming a Mom, brunch was usually a last minute, late afternoon event. Now, as a mom of two busy little boys, I still love to go out on the weekends and enjoy one of my favorite meals. Our spot has to have the right vibes, the best chocolate milk (for the boys of course) and a good eggs benedict option for the hubby. As we come upon Easter and Mother’s Day, I’m glad to share our 5 favorite brunch spots that can be found in some of our local Miami neighborhoods.

Favorite Family-Friendly Brunch Spots

Morgan’s Restaurant

28 NE 29th Street  Miami, FL 33132
(305) 573-9678

With an endless brunch menu (three types of eggs benedict!) this converted home in Wynwood invites you to enjoy both the inside and outside for brunch. Think Southern food brought to you by the local farmer’s market. One of my personal favorites, I still remember the delicious meal I enjoyed 5 years ago on my first Mother’s Day with my son at Morgan’s.

Saturday 8am – 4pm
Sunday 8am – 5pm

Love small plates and being able to try a variety of items from the menu? Bulla is the spot for you! Bulla lets you choose a 3-course brunch meal that gets you savoring all types of options. From the tostada de aguacate to churros con chocolate you’ll have options for everyone in the family. Don’t overlook the bottomless mimosas and sangria option too!

Glass & Vine

2820 McFarlane Rd.  Miami, FL 33133

There is no better feeling than knowing that your children will have space to move while you have time to brunch! Described as a secret garden space by the sea, this spot sits next to Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. Its menu offers options for everyone, and their pitcher option for the brunch cocktails is perfect for large groups.

Beaker & Gray

2637 N Miami Ave.  Miami, FL 33127
(305) 699-2637

Located in Midtown, the food offered on the cold, savory, shared and sweet menus (guava skillet cookie anyone?) make this a great spot. Dine indoors or outdoors and make sure to order one of their signature cocktails to accompany your meal.

Two Locations: South Miami and Coral Gables

Looking for a casual brunch spot that’ll offer you brunch all day? Threefold Cafe brings you the staple items like french toast, waffles, and omelets with a delicious twist. 1. Definitely have to try some of these! They sound delicious!! Since the kiddo was born 4 years ago, brunch hasn’t been a priority- although it’s a favorite, so let me get right on it! Thanks for this post!
