Fireworks Shows in Miami: A Guide to Local 4th of July Events

Fireworks, burgers, hotdogs, and lawn chairs! That’s right, it’s the 4th of July! Everything is red, white & blue and summer is officially in full swing.

What can I do with my kiddos this year, you may ask? Don’t worry, Momma! I got you. Here are several fireworks shows and local events going on in Miami this 4th of July:

MISO 4th of July Celebration at Peacock Park

The Miami Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Eduardo Maturet will be joining the Fourth of July Celebration this year at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. This event will be held from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Don’t forget your lawn chair or blanket for the fireworks event.

Trump National Doral in Doral

Trump National Doral will host its annual Independence Day firework show. This event includes live music as well as food and beverages, and activities. If you’re in the area, you do not want to miss out.

America’s Birthday Bash in Bayfront Park

This is one of the largest 4th of July events in Miami. You can stop by early as there will be food trucks, vendors, and live music. Not to mention this is a free event to enjoy with the entire family. There will be a kids zone which will open at 3 pm and run until 7 pm. The fireworks display will start at 9 pm.

Town of Miami Lakes Annual 4th of July Celebration

The Town of Miami Lakes will host its 20th annual celebration this year. The celebration begins at 6:30 pm in Miami Lakes Veterans Park. There will be live entertainment and food. Parking is free. 

Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade

This year marks the 64th annual parade. The parade starts at 11 am sharp and will go down Crandon Boulevard from Harbor Drive to West Wood Drive. This parade includes flying jets, marching bands, golf carts, and floats. In the evening there will be a picnic and fireworks hosted by The Village Green.

Town of Cutler Bay Fourth of July Celebration and Parade

This year marks the 55th annual celebration for this town and this town goes BIG! The celebration begins at 9 am with their parade. This is followed by a town picnic at Whispering Pines Park until noon. The picnic includes inflatables, snow cones, face painting, music, arts and crafts, and more. City of South Miami’s Fourth of July Celebration

This celebration kicks off at 5 pm with entertainment, food trucks, and activities for our kids. The fireworks show will begin at 9 pm. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to watch the show. Unfortunately, there will be no pets allowed.

Race to the 4th in Homestead

This annual event takes place from 6-10 pm at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Admission is free and will include live music and entertainment, food trucks, vendors, children’s rides, and the best fireworks show in South Florida! Check out the event website for more info.

Get your Fourth of July party started with Marlins Baseball!

The can’t-miss fireworks show on July 3 returns to loanDepot park for the first time this season. Taking place after the 6:40 p.m. matchup vs. the Cardinals, this show will mark the start of the July 4th celebration in South Florida. Eight hundred lucky fans will be able to take the field to watch the post-game fireworks show presented by Miccosukee Casino & Resort, with 200 spots held exclusively for Marlins Members. Grab your tickets!
