Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea Aventura: Event Recap

0

Miami Moms Blog recently hosted the 1st annual Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea presented by Aventura Hospital and Medical Center at the AC Hotel in Aventura.

Check out the Event Recap Video created by our friends at 8Filmz.

Our Presenting Sponsor: Aventura Hospital & Medical Center

Aventura Hospital and Medical Center has been serving the community for more than 50 years. We strategically partnered with them for this event to highlight the importance of National Heart Health Awareness Month. February is a time when everyone is thinking about their sweetheart, but are you thinking about your own heart? Heart disease is the number one killer of women and it is imperative that Moms understand the importance of heart health.

Aventura Hospital and Medical Center provided a fun Teddy Bear Clinic for the children. Each child took home a teddy bear with a certificate of health after they completed their check-up with the team from Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.

Award-winning Cardiologist, Dr. Allan Stewart was the featured speaker at the event. He spoke to our guests about the symptoms associated with heart attacks and heart disease. He also provided helpful information for Moms and encouraged everyone to prioritize their health.

Dr. Stewart’s wife, Donatella Arapaia, also shared her expertise as a chef, restauranteur, judge on The Food Network’s Iron Chef America and The Next Iron Chef. Her nutrition advice was motivating for mothers as she encouraged them to train their children to make healthy choices from a very young age. It was a joy to have her share her heart, mom-to-mom, with our guests.

The Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea Experience

Our Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea was intentionally designed for mothers and daughters to have a memorable experience together. Moms and children alike enjoyed sipping on a berry flavored tea provided by My Tea Bar.

R Catering provided scrumptious tea sandwiches including chicken salad, shrimp & lobster, and cucumber. It wasn’t long before they were all gone.

There were plenty of treats on hand to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth including brigadeiros from the Brigadeiro Shop, cupcakes and alfajores from Sweet Treat Designs, and Merenguitos from Table of Sweets. Each table was delicately adorned with custom made dessert platters by DeColores Rentals.

Galletitas Packaging kept our guests hydrated with adorable branded water bottles.

Adorable teapot and tea cup themed cookies made by Sweet Dreams by GC sat at every place setting. They were almost too beautiful to eat, almost.

Passion Flowers Ventures created the most beautiful centerpieces to coordinate with the event color scheme. Whimsical umbrellas were added to create a special added touch. Each flower was selected to create the most stunning floral arrangement.

Vero Balloon created impressive balloon towers complete with a tea pot and tea cup. Guests were in awe!

Mommy & Me Sweetheart Tea Aventura would not have been complete without the wonderful tea cups and saucers provided by Atlas Rentals. Their Tiffany Blue tea cups were the perfect complement to our tablescape.

A Royal Entertainment

Elsa, Anna, and Belle made all of our little princesses feel like the real guests of honor. They welcomed the guests with a rendition of “Be Our Guest” and continued their performance with a compilation of songs, dances, and games to engage the audience. Girls were able to dance and sing with them, a memory that is sure to be kept forever. Caroline Party always brings the excitement.

Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea Aventura Vendors

What is a Miami Moms Blog Event without a little shopping?! Our guests were able to visit different vendors right before our Princess Spectacular.

The mother daughter duo from Selah Skin Studio provided free skin consultations for moms while their daughters were able to make their very own face masks.

The Creative Cove hosted a flower crown making station for mommies and their minis. The moms loved it just as much as the daughters.

Lily from Lilsartsy welcomed everyone with a personalized coaster featuring her modern calligraphy.

Jholui Shapewear was there to help support moms in getting the hour glass figure!

Plastik Shoes had the most adorable, eco-friendly shoes for sale.

Baby Ole Shop was on site with their beautiful handmade Spanish baby clothing.

Best Moments Photography was there with their super fun and interactive photobooths. Moms and their kiddos enjoyed the selfie station throughout the tea.

Guests received free samples from our partner Skiddies who created a potty training underwear protector for kids.

A big thank you to Whatever Loquesea for also providing the signage for this event.

Capturing the Moment

Sharing these moments with you would not have been made possible without our talented photographer, Alejandra Escalante and our videographer, Renzo Gomez from 8Filmz.
