3rd Annual Cookies With Santa: Event Recap

Our Cookies with Santa Event is one of our most popular annual events! Due to the pandemic this year, we were extra creative and decided to take the event virtual! Families joined us live via Zoom (some even in their Christmas pj’s!) for a fun-filled night with Santa Claus and Special Guests! We celebrated the season together in true 2020 style!

Guests of the event were able to pick up their Swag Bags at UHealth Jackson Urgent Care in Doral. Thank you to our amazing partners: The Flower Wall Co Miami and Party Gifts Solutions for creating such a beautiful photo backdrop at the swag pick-up. 

Thank you to our awesome swag partners who provided amazing goodies for families including: Cookies from Ladies Who Bake, Ornaments from NailedItDIY, Brownies from No Nut Vegan Sweets, Straws from goSili, Toothbrush sets from MAM USA, and sports drinks from BodyArmor.

Swag Bags were filled with fun surprises to help families create a special Christmas celebration at home. Rudolph Glasses, Christmas Headbands, Hot Chocolate Mix, and of course COOKIES were among the festive surprises in the Swag Bags.  

At 6PM everyone signed on to Zoom and the party started! We enjoyed music and a “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” Dance Off led by DJ Stephen Peters to kick off the evening.  

Cookie Decorating Demonstration

Michelle, Owner of Ladies Who Bake, shared her delicious double chocolate chip sugar cookies in our Swag Bags.

She also gave us a live cookie decorating demonstration to show us how she creates her incredible cookie designs with the royal icing technique. Michelle provided tips and tricks to help amplify our holiday baking traditions!

Special Visit from Santa Claus

In addition to holiday themed games like: The Christmas Sweater Challenge, Cookie Face, and a Christmas Scavenger Hunt, the kids also enjoyed a special “Ho, Ho, Ho Challenge” led by Santa Claus himself! The winner won a free private Zoom Call with Santa live from “The North Pole.” 

Santa answered all our questions about the reindeer, his sleigh, toy making, and life at the North Pole. He even read names from The Nice List and mentioned some of his elves (who happened to be the personal elves of the guests at the event!) 

Everyone knows that Jolly Old St. Nicholas loves to sing! He led us all in 2 of his favorite songs: Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells!

Surprise Serenade from Queen Elsa of Arendelle

Thanks to Caroline Party, Queen Elsa came to sing two of her most popular songs – Let It Go and Into The Unknown. (Who sang louder? The kids or the Moms?)

Christmas Trivia, led by Elsa, was a fun opportunity for families to test their Christmas knowledge and win great giveaways from our Giveaway Partners.

Did you know that White Christmas is the most popular Christmas song of all time? 

A Night To Remember

To close out our time together Santa read “Twas The Night Before Christmas” and led the entire group in a fun Jingle Bells Dance Party! The kids were all very excited to sing and dance along with Santa Claus!

As he does so well, he ended the night with a great big, “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!”
