I scream, you scream, we all scream for…you guessed it: ice cream shops in Miami! There are tons of great places to get ice cream in Miami and our team did the hard work of trying out 8 of them to share with you (somebody’s gotta do it).

Azúcar
Located in: Little Havana & a Pop-Up in Dadeland
What Moms are saying: “There is no other ice-cream place that represents the 305 like Azúcar does! It’s in the heart of Little Havana on Calle Ocho across from the Domino Park. Azúcar offers a variety of Miami and Cuban ice-cream flavors such as the Abuela Maria ice-cream with Abuela Maria crackers, Guayaba and cream cheese. Fun Fact: Azucar is owned by a Cuban Mom with a nod to her Abuela who was passionate about ice cream. The founder trained at Penn State’s Ice Cream University and the Frozen Dessert Institute of St. Louis. If you ask us, that’s cool…literally!
ChillN Nitrogen Ice Cream
Located in: Pinecrest, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Coral Springs, South Miami, South Beach, Coconut Grove

My Menchies
Located in: Hialeah Mercado, Doral Commons Plaza, Homestead Pavilion Plaza
What Moms are saying: While it’s not officially ice cream, we did sneak in a chain FroYo brand on our list because if it’s delicious, we think it’s worth a visit!

Salt & Straw
Located in: Wynwood & CocoWalk

Sweet Melody Crafted Ice Cream
Located in: Dine in at The Scoop Shop in Palmetto Bay, purchase some to take home at The Ventanita on 152nd Ave and Sunset (The OG), or grab a bite at Vicky’s House by Lokal in Coconut Grove.

Fun Fact: A dad (Mike), a daughter (Sweet Melody), and a dream. The story of Sweet Melody is a tear-jerker and to see it’s huge success today will warm your heart! Mike’s shop is also certified as a dairy plant, where he pasteurizes the milk to make his own individual ice cream bases.
Wall’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream
Located in: South Miami
