HOW IT WORKS

Ordering your groceries to be delivered on-demand with Cornershop is easy! Download the Cornershop by Uber: Grocers App or visit their site. Enter your zip code to locate the stores in your area. Once you’ve selected your desired store — shop!

Everything is organized by category. You can also search by brand or item name. The site displays store promotions (example: buy one, get one free) so you won’t miss out on any good deals. 

You can add special notes to the items in your cart for your Shopper. So if you’d like very ripe bananas for that banana bread recipe you’ve been wanting to try, or unripened avocados for the guacamole you’re making later in the week, indicate that in the notes. Your Shopper will do their best to accommodate your requests.

Once you’ve added everything to your cart, schedule the delivery time. Groceries can delivered right away, typically within 90 minutes to two hours. You can also select a one-hour delivery window for later that day or up to two days in advance. 

Cornershop sends an email confirming your order is being prepared, which includes the name of your Shopper. They will send another email when your order is on its way with a timeframe for delivery.

The delivery is contact-free. Your shopper wears a mask and knocks on your door, stepping back for you to grab your groceries. Frozen items are brought in an insulated bag.

FAST FACTS 

• There is a $10 order minimum.
• Your Shopper will call you with any questions (if for example, they don’t have the exact item you requested, they’ll contact you regarding an alternative).
• You are not billed until the delivery is complete. 
• You can add or edit your Shopper’s tip during the ordering process and for up to an hour after your delivery is made.
• Past orders are saved in your account, making it easy to reorder items you use frequently.
