Hi everyone! My name is Mariela and I’m proud to be part of Miami Moms Blog!
When we first arrived to Miami, Pedro, my only son, was a little over a year old. So far, we’ve been enjoying this beautiful City for 5 years now.
Miami is a huge playground!
It’s so full of wonders to discover! There are places to see, and things to do and enjoy regardless of your age.
We have the beach at our fingertips everyday!
Living in Miami we enjoy the luxury of having access to the beach anytime we want! My son and I love to go to the beach almost every day. Therefore, sand, sea and a nap under the umbrella always becomes an unbeatable plan!
We enjoy wonderful parks all around us.
Parks are certainly a good place to get to know some other Moms and kids. Always well taken care of, Miami parks have playgrounds for toddlers and kids. Many of them have little water parks and splash pads for kids to enjoy on the hot days (almost every day). 😉
We have outstanding local Museums.
The Miami Children’s Museum is a place where not only the kids can learn and experience, but us as adults, we can do it with them. The recently opened Frost Museum is a world to discover. There is so much learn! You will need a few visits to see it all.
The Miami Seaquarium has been a passion for my son and his friends. Being raised beside the sea must be a unique experience for our children. One of the phrases from my son that I will never forget was when he was two years old and said, “Mommy, today I went with Miss LiLi to watch the Dolphins.” Dolphins, crabs, fish, and every species of the marine world surroundings are natural for him. Therefore, a visit to see them all together in one place is always a good idea.
Above all, outdoors, indoors or in the city just minutes away – what Miami has to offer is endless! I hope to be sharing with you some of the moments we enjoy around this marvelous place!

See you soon!
