Kathy is a stay-home-mom of a five year old scientist-naturalist-inventor-graphic artist and a three year old ballerina-actress-illustrator. Before accepting the challenge and honor of being a full-time mom, she worked in the field of education teaching community art classes, middle school Language Arts, and serving as Assistant Principal. She has extensive experience in the world of virtual education and working with homeschooling families. She writes freelance, teaches Sunday school, leads community volunteer groups, and tends to her South Florida garden. Kathy has lived in Miami for almost a decade and greatly values the rich diversity of people and opportunities our city offers.
