Summer Style: 5 Must-Have Accessories for Under $25

As of June 21, it’s officially summer! Update your everyday outfits and beat the heat with these 5 must-have summer accessories — all available in budget-friendly options that won’t break the bank (or require you to cancel summer camp).

Rattan Bags

These bags made a major come back in spring, and they aren’t going anywhere this summer! From errands and date night to Sunday brunch, they’re the perfect addition to any summer outfit. You can find this particular style for just $15.

Heart-Shaped Sunglasses

YSL’s Loulou heart-shaped sunglasses are everywhere but carry a hefty price tag of around $420. Luckily, you can find less expensive versions, like these by Wild Fable at Target for $10 or these — in just about every color — on Amazon for $12.99 per 2-pack. 

Pearl Hair Clips

Your childhood hair clips have gotten a grown-up makeover and can be spotted all over Instagram (and IRL)! If you’re a cool mom, not a regular mom, you can double up and wear two side-by-side. While some items are worth the investment, trendy hair clips are hardly it. I ordered mine on eBay from China and was happy with the quality and price. Just remember to be patient with the shipping.

Nail Stickers 

Nail stickers — they’re not just for kids! Olive & June released a perfect-for-summer collection (think fruits, flamingo pool floats and more) and they’re available at Target for $7.50. They look great layered over your favorite polish or alone for a the baby is crying, and I don’t have time to wait for my nails to dry summer mani. (#momlife, am I right?) Bonus: Your kids will love them too, and they make for a fun mommy & me moment!

Knotted Headbands

While these are not a new trend this season, they’re still big and come in a wide variety of colors and prints. They instantly make you look put together on days you don’t have time to style your hair, are fighting Miami’s epic humidity or find yourself  reaching for the dry shampoo — making them a true summer must-have. While designer versions can go for upwards of $150 , there are less expensive options at most stores. Check out these at H&M for $9.99 or these stripe & polka dot iterations at Nordstrom for $24.
