Hosted by Samantha’s Purpose, the 2025 Run, Walk & Stroll 2K for Cerebral Palsy Awareness is set to be a heartwarming, fun-filled morning on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Coral Reef Park in the Village of Palmetto Bay. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., and every participant will be greeted with an exclusive event t-shirt, a stylish event bag, and a beautiful finish medal to celebrate their accomplishment.
Our dedicated planning committee has worked hard to create an event that is “truly inclusive”—and our 2K course is a perfect example of that commitment. The course winds through a gorgeous, shaded, and accessible park, where many participants with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities proudly complete the course on their own, using crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, or with the loving support of a family member. For many, this event is their very own marathon, and at the finish line, we come together to celebrate each triumph with heartfelt cheers, a gorgeous finish medal, and beaming smiles all around.
This is your invitation to join a morning of community, celebration, and uplifting energy—you truly won’t want to miss it! And as a special touch, we ask everyone to wear GREEN to show your support for Cerebral Palsy Awareness. If you are a parent or caretaker of a child with special needs and need help with the registration fee, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Come join us and help make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most!
At Samantha’s Purpose, we’re 100% volunteer-run, ensuring that every penny raised goes directly to supporting families of children with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. We provide guidance and financial assistance for therapy services, durable medical equipment, personal care items, and camp scholarships. We also support organizations that host fully inclusive events and create educational environments for children with special needs. Our mission is to be supportive, inclusive, empowering, and compassionate—helping families thrive and ensuring every child experiences community and opportunity.
