Vanessa de la Llama, MS, LMHC
Vanessa de la Llama is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults with ADHD, Anxiety & Depression. She has experience in psychiatric inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) with patients with severe and recurring mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia and personality disorders.
In her 10 years of practice, Vanessa has completed extensive clinical training in child and adolescent psychotherapy, which includes facilitation of family therapy and group therapy. Her license/certification in child and adult ADHD allows her to give comprehensive psychological services which helps individuals overcome challenges and excel academically and professionally. The braveness and willingness Vanessa’s clients show during their sessions is what brings her to work and fulfills her on a daily basis.
Born & raised in Miami, FL, Vanessa was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 8 and has been living a neurodivergent life ever since. She lives with her husband and 3 y/o son, Benicio. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Hector Chavez, Medical Director Pediatric Emergency Department, Holtz Children’s Hospital
Dr. Chavez graduated from the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He went on to complete his pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL and completed his fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine the University of Minnesota Minneapolis and St. Paul Children’s Hospital. He has been at Jackson Memorial Hospital for 20 years and loves providing care to all its patients. He is the proud father of three wonderful adults.
Nicole S. Torres, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics
Nicole S. Torres, MD, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics. Dr. Torres received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami. She earned her MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and then completed a residency and chief residency at Holtz Children’s Hospital/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Torres is board-certified in General Pediatrics and practices at UHealth Pediatrics in Kendall, where she cares for children of all ages – from infancy to young adulthood. In addition to clinical care, she is actively involved in education at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine and serves on education committees within the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Board of Pediatrics.
