The weekend is here and you’re looking for the perfect Miami rooftop dining spot with great food, breathtaking views, and amazing ambiance. We’ve got you covered! Whether you’re searching for something different for date night or a girls’ brunch, we think you’ll find your next favorite local hangout below!

Casa Florida

One of the outdoor dining areas at Casa Florida

If you love vintage Miami, then Casa Florida is for you. Located in the Miami River area, it is an old Miami home turned into a restaurant and hotel. Most of the dining is outside with many different vibes. Casa Florida loves pink, and you can find it everywhere. They also have the flamingo as part of their logo. Their layout has a small amount of inside dining, but most of the dining is outdoor patio. One of the coolest dining vibes is inside an old city bus that is set up with seating inside. They also have two different other patio areas. Their largest dining area has lots of pink picnic tables and the other has rattan patio sofas and tables.

My family and I have visited this location twice, once for brunch and once for my daughter’s baby shower. Their brunch is served on the weekend from 11am-4pm. We loved their pink benedicts, which are their version of an egg benedict served with a side of home fries. I also tried the golden avocado toast which was made with Oori turmeric sourdough. It was delicious.

My daughter loved the place so much she decided to partner with their team to have them host her baby shower for her daughter. With the pink everywhere, it was perfect! The management was very accommodating in giving her enough space, servers, and personalizing her menu. They even created a mocktail just for the baby shower and called it the Luna Rae Pink Drink.

If you love to find the hidden gem in your city, then you will love this place. Besides the fact that it speaks of the history and culture of Miami, it is also a great place to relax and have fun.

RH Rooftop Restaurant

A bellini and matcha green tea latte at RH Rooftop Restaurant in West Palm Beach

Do you love architecture, furniture, and interior design? Then you will love RH Rooftop Restaurant. The closest one to Miami is in West Palm Beach. The restaurant sits on top of the luxury furniture store Restoration Hardware. You walk into a beautiful ambiance with an open-air feeling and glass ceilings to see the sky. There are stunning chandeliers hung throughout and the calm sound of water flowing off the fountains. The olive trees everywhere make you feel like you have entered an upscale hidden forest. You can choose to dine sitting on plush sofas or comfy chairs and tables.

Once you are seated by the friendly staff, it is time to look over the menu. They offer a brunch and lunch menu or a dinner menu. We went during the afternoon and ordered off the brunch menu. We started off with drinks and ordered the Matcha Latte and the RH Bellini (a signature drink with Prosecco and peach puree). For our entrees, we went with brunch: their RH Scramble with a side of the thick-cut pork belly bacon, covered in a delicious maple glaze. And a lunch entrée: Truffled Grilled Cheese and French fries. Of course, the presentation of the food aligns with the design feel of the entire atmosphere. Everything we tried was so yummy!

After you are done dining, plan some extra time in your visit to walk through the different design galleries. There are different sections set up for Interiors, Modern, Baby, Child, and Teen. If you are wanting to do any home renovations, then this is the place to begin creating your new look. And even if you are not renovating, a girl can dream and create a wish list. You will be inspired by all the amazing and innovative design ideas at RH!

Sugar

Morgan, pictured at Sugar in Brickell

Sugar, located on the 40th floor of EAST at Brickell City Center, isn’t Brickell’s newest rooftop, but in my opinion, it’s the best. This Asian-influenced, jungle-inspired, tropical oasis is a fun, sexy, hidden gem in the middle of busy Brickell. The cocktails are pricey, but they are fresh, delicious, and totally worth it. My favorite is the “B Positive,” a basil-infused tequila, mezcal, blood orange concoction of pure yummy-ness.

They also have a menu of various Spritzes, perfect for cooling off on a balmy, Miami summer night. Food offerings include sushi, satay, and an array of small plates, such as Pork Belly Buns and Steamed Prawn Dumplings. If you plan on dining, it is important to note that table reservations require a minimum spend of $100 per person. There is also the option to dine at the Tea Room, the indoor area of the rooftop, which offers their own specialty cocktails and a multi-course “Asian Night Brunch.”  My tip: go for cocktails (and IG-worthy pics) before grabbing dinner elsewhere, or make it a late-night stop for a nightcap and glittering Miami skyline views.

Rosa Sky

Morgan and her partner enjoying a date night at Rosa Sky

Rosa Sky, on the 22nd floor atop AC/Element, is Brickell’s newest rooftop having just opened a few months ago. It offers jaw-dropping views of downtown and the Miami River, pic-worthy cocktails, and an eclectic menu of globally-inspired tapas, including Miso Roasted Cauliflower and Cuban “Cigars,” rolled jamon, lechon, queso, pickle relish, and mustard aioli. Order the namesake cocktail “The Rosa Sky,” a refreshing (albeit very sweet) mix of Grey Goose Strawberry and Lemongrass Vodka, Citrus, and Sparkling Rose. It comes in a martini glass with a pink, rose-shaped ice cube and is worth it for the photo-op alone.

There is a rotating schedule of DJs, including some popular local names, who keep the vibe sexy and light. It is open Wednesday-Saturday from 4:30 pm-2 am, so you can join for after-work drinks, or make a night of it. Sunday’s hours are 12 pm-12 am with a special brunch offering. Table reservations require deposits and minimum spends, and there is a dress code that seems pretty strictly enforced (a woman behind us was turned away for wearing athletic wear). My tip: grab a drink at the bar at sunset to take advantage of both day and night views, or make it a fun, boozy, bottomless bubbles brunch with girlfriends.

The Citadel

Perfect for Rooftop Romance or Moms’ Night Out

The Citadel Food Hall

The Citadel in Miami’s revitalized Little River/Little Haiti area has something for everyone.

On the first floor, there is a food hall with everything from charcuterie, Hattian jerk chicken, tacos, Chinese, decadent pastries, and smoothies plus a full bar.

On the rooftop, you can sip a cocktail while enjoying the beautiful ambiance.

If your mom friends all have different taste buds, no problem. You can all order from a different restaurant and your server will deliver it to you on the rooftop.

If you’re out on a romantic date, the soft lighting and well-distanced tables make it easy to have great conversation.

On your way out you have to stop at Pivot which is a community of 40+ sustainable brands that sell clothing, jewelry, home goods, and body products.

But the real treat is the Turn Back the Clock Shop where you will be transported through time browsing through vintage games, childhood memorabilia, vinyls, clothing, antiques, and more.

Café Crème

Best Happy Hour

Cafe Creme in NoMi

If you are looking for a quick and fun mom’s night out Café Crème in North Miami has a cute outdoor patio with traditional tables or relaxed sofa/patio furniture style seating and tables.

What’s even better is the $5 happy hour specials Tuesday-Friday from 5-7pm. Perfect to pair with a sandwich or charcuterie board.

If you are into outdoor brunch they have the BEST quiche I’ve ever had… Seriously. Even my kids rave about it.

But their absolute favorite time to visit café Crème is after dinner. They like to sit outside and share several of their homemade French desserts and pastries.

Café Crème is right next to the MOCA and an open space that often hosts bands and outdoor events. If you’re lucky you’ll stop by when things are hopping.

Just cattycorner from Café Crème is the very small and easy-to-miss Liberty Park which boasts the more obviously seen Augmented Reality Mural. Scan the mural with the “Liberty Gardens AR” app and watch the mural come to life.
