  1. The fact that no effort was put into providing any info about the camps in the list (hyperlink, location??) makes this guide anything but ultimate.

    • Thanks for commenting and we value your opinion. We put lots of effort into making our Camp Guide as comprehensive as possible by providing an organic listing of dozens of camps beyond those that chose to be featured. Our organic listing allows for parents to explore dozens of additional camps on their own. Our sponsors are provided with links and listings above. Thanks for your feedback and we wish you well!

    • Thank you for this list. The extensive list at the bottom of the post is helpful. I know some wanted the hyperlinks, but a simple search with the camp name and adding the city will take you to their website or social media page to get more details. I appreciate this list every summer. Thank you.

      • You’re welcome! We look forward to providing this resource to Miami moms every year, and I’m glad you’ve found it helpful 🙂

    • I feel you. This just looks like an advertisement. The featured camps must’ve paid a fee. The list is just a lazy way to beef up the advertisement. I mean, the list is better than nothing, but let’s not mislead moms by calling this something it’s not. I think this would be more appreciated if it just said, hey, here’s a raw list I’m sharing. It’s the misleading part that I’m not a fan of.

      • Hi there, thank you for expressing your opinion. You’re right, featured camps did pay a fee to be featured in this guide. We receive such encouraging feedback about this guide every year from moms and businesses alike. I’m sorry you did not find the guide helpful for you personally.

Our mission at Miami Mom Collective is to encourage, equip, and empower Moms. We hope you’ll stick around and find some content, an event, or even a new friend that will lead you to feel encouraged, equipped and empowered in your motherhood journey! Wishing you well!

  2. Hi Lynda, Thank you for providing all the information that’ll guide moms to the resources they may need. I know this took a lot of time and appreciate it.

I live in California, will be out in Miami for the summer with my 16 year old and would like to put him in a couple of camps, preferably in the Miami Dade area. His interests are cars and basketball. I would like for him to also get involved in possibly nature and/or leadership camps as well. Do you have any suggestions which camps we should look into?

    Thank you ~ Annemarie

    • Hi Annemarie! Thanks for your feedback; I’m glad you found this guide to be helpful 🙂 My kids are a lot younger so I don’t have personal experience with camps that would be better suited to your son, but I think this would be a great question to post in our Miami Mom Collective Community + Connection FB group! I hope you all have a wonderful time in Miami this summer; it would be great to meet you at one of our events while you’re in town!

  3. Hi! Not a mom here, but commenting as the owner and head coach of Davis Fencing Academy of Miami. Seeing some of the comments here, and I wanted to take the opportunity to add the vendor perspective. Hope it is helpful.
We at DFAM are very thankful to be included on this list, alongside some top-notch other camps in Miami, and we are even considering a bigger presence on this Ultimate Summer Guide 2023. Cierra and her team are diligent, thoughtful, and soooo talented at what they do here at The Mom Collective. Their professionalism puts us at-ease, knowing that our hard work is met with a reciprocal effort to showcase great places to let your kids be kids for summer camps, etc.

Thank you for reading, and for the team at Mom Collective in doing a very fine job. ~Coach Jeff
