Tea parties are always so delightful, especially when you also get to meet other moms from your community! On February 22, Miami Moms Blog celebrated the 1st Annual Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea presented by Kendall Regional Hospital at The InterContinental at Doral Miami.

What a joy it was to partner with Kendall Regional Medical Center for this fun and important event. The Mommy & Me Sweetheart Tea is intentionally held during February because February is National Heart Health Awareness Month. There’s no better way to be a “sweetheart” than to monitor your own heart health.
Peter Jude and Dr. Jorge Montilla shared important heart health information with our guests. As busy moms, we are reminded that taking care of ourself is one way we can support our families.
Kendall Regional Medical Center also provided a fun Teddy Bear Clinic for the kids. Each child received a teddy bear and they were able to give their bear a health check-up with the team from Kendall Regional Medical Center.
The Tea Party Experience
Mothers and their daughters enjoyed delicious Berry Hibiscus Tea from My Tea Bar and sweet treats and light bites in a beautiful tea party setting fit for a princess.
R Catering provided delicious tea sandwiches garnished with flowers which were perfectly placed at every table. It wasn’t long before they were all gone!
Our guests indulged their sweet tooth with Brigadeiros from the Brigadeiro Shop, mini cupcakes and brownies from Bunnie Cakes, Merenguitos from Table of Sweets. This wonderful trio was delicately displayed on custom made dessert platters by De Colores Rentals.
Stunning Tea party themed iced cookies made by Sweet Dreams by GC adorned the tables as well. Who doesn’t love a delicious iced cookie? Every place setting was truly a work of art.
Our Tea Party would not have been complete without the wonderful tea cups and saucers provided by Atlas Rentals. Their Tiffany Blue tea cups were the perfect complement to our tablescape.
Galletitas Packaging provided the most adorable branded water bottles for our guests!
We cannot stop admiring the gorgeous centerpieces made by Passion Flowers Ventures. Each flower was specially selected to create the most stunning floral arrangement.
A Royal Entertainment
Elsa, Anna and Belle were the guests of honor at this tea party! Girls were able to take photos and even dance and sing on stage with them – a memory that is sure to last forever. Caroline Party always brings in the best entertainment in town.
Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea Vendors
What is a Miami Moms Blog Event without a little shopping?! Our guests were able to visit with vendors during the event.
Selah Skin Studio had an interactive station where moms were able to receive a free skin consultation and their daughters were able to make their very own, take home, face masks.
Pipa and Belu are always a hit at our events! Children gathered around to paint on wooden cut outs and embrace their creative side.
Lily from Lilsartsy welcomed all the Moms and their daughters with custom coasters each personalized with modern calligraphy.
Bakerly was a huge hit! Who doesn’t love crepes? Their delicious crepes were the rave of the tea party. Guests were happy to know they can purchase them at Publix and Whole Foods.
Our Guests were able to learn a little bit more about CBD oil and its benefits with Lindsay Tewell of Green Compass Global.
World Music Schools shared information about their wonderful music classes for children of all ages conveniently located in Doral.
The Boho Chic Loft provided a mini boutique experience complete with beautiful garments and handbags for sale.
American Aesthetic Dental Group provided information on their pediatric dental office and even offered the mini princesses a magic wand!
We even had an extraordinary author named Luz Agudelo sharing her book “Out Loud: June’s Venture Book” which talks about the struggles of bullying.
Moms and daughters both enjoyed snapping a photo with Best Moments Photo Booth and everyone was raving about the amazing balloon creations by Vero Balloon.
We had several fun giveaways including a balloon bouquet, gift certificates to The InterContinental at Doral Miami, and an awesome sweets board from Board Oh!

Building Community
Miami Moms Blog exists to encourage, equip, and empower local Moms with relevant content and a meaningful community. Hosting events like these truly does just that. Moms were able to mingle with other moms from their area and build meaningful relationships.
