Pinecrest Gardens Nights of Lights
There’s something otherworldly about even the most frequented places when you visit after dark. Pinecrest Gardens Nights of Lights brings a magical quality to the familiar and well-loved paths of Pinecrest Gardens. Radiant light displays, mechanical rides, storytelling, pony rides, and pictures with Santa will enchant your kids and transport them to a tropical holiday wonderland. And as for you parents— you will have just been transported to a place as far away from Santa’s Enchanted Forest as is the East is from the West. The charm, value, and beauty cannot be beaten here in Miami and should put Pinecrest Gardens Nights of Lights at the top of your holiday to-do list.

Thousands of sparkling lights transform the garden paths into a holiday menagerie. You’ll have to push that stroller double time to keep up with the excitement of your kids as they run ahead to oooh and aaaah over their next favorite animal sculpture.
Mechanical rides are included in your admission and perfect for younger families. A small carousel and Ferris wheel are just the right speed for toddlers, while those seeking a bit more of a thrill can try an egg-beater style spinner. There are even pony rides available from 7:00 to 8:00pm every night.
A talented storyteller spins holiday tales from 7:00 to 8:00pm most nights during the Pinecrest Gardens Nights of Lights. We’ve been to several of her performances and the kids are always enthralled by her engaging stories and songs.
And of course, the big man himself. Santa is waiting to take a photo with your family from 6:30 to 8:30 pm from December 14 to December 24. (After that he takes a well-deserved break, although the Nights of Lights event at Pinecrest Gardens still runs through January 1st to keep the holiday spirit alive!)
Be sure to visit Nights of Lights on a night of one of the included performances. On our first visit, we were treated to portions of The Nutcracker ballet in the beautiful Pinecrest Gardens Banyan Bowl. It was the perfect introduction to the performing arts for our young family and magnified the value of our entrance fee. Where else in Miami could you be treated to such an evening at $5 a ticket?
