You may have this common item in your kitchen that your child is using daily. What you may not know is that it could be a potential choking hazard. I just checked my kitchen and we have 2!

According to USA Today, Contigo is recalling 5.7 million kids water bottles due to potential for choking hazards. The clear spouts may detach from the bottle and pose a choking hazard.
Is Your Contigo Water Bottle is Under Recall
Contigo is not recalling all of their water bottles and the affected ones were solid color bottls with clear spouts and black lids. There are a number of variations but you can check to see if you have one that is being recalled by visiting gocontigo.com/recall.
The recall says, “Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water bottles, take them away from children and contact Contigo for inspection instructions and a free replacement lid.”
Thankfully there are no reports of injury. However, more than 100 incident reports have been filed.
Contigo is offering free replacement lids. The company can be reached online or at 888-262-0622 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online.
