Hi Miami Moms! My name is Ailyn and I am so excited to officially be a part of such an amazing group of women.
Miami
I like to think of myself as your typical Miami girl, minus all of the stereotypes that come along with the title. Or at least I like to think so. Being born and raised in Miami my entire life, it is easy to say I can’t get any more Miami-er!
Born to Cuban parents, it is easy to say I had a very Cuban upbringing. I woke up in the morning to the smell of Cuban coffee & Cuban toast, and on Thanksgiving, instead of the good old American fixins, we roasted a pig in a caja China. The direct translation is a Chinese box, but don’t ask me how it got the name. I’ve always been proud of my Cuban roots and living in Miami allows me to embrace that.
Miami is a huge melting pot and I feel that it has exposed me to all sorts of cultures, views, and lifestyles. This city is a place like no other, and I am blessed to have been raised here.
Moms
Never did I know that being a mom would be such a blessing. After being married for 1 year, I gave birth to my first child, Brianna. Four and a half years later, I became a mommy again our little Alexa. They are both completely different personalities but the love that they have for each other is evident and it warms my heart to see them interact.

Mom life can be exhausting and nerve-wracking, but it can also be so rewarding. Nothing beats the feeling of satisfaction you get when your child gives you a hug and whispers in your ear, “I love you, Mommy,” at the end of a stressful day. Being a mom has demonstrated what selfless and unconditional love is and sometimes I find myself wondering, how did I ever get so lucky?

Blog
Blogging is something I’ve always wanted to do. Every day is an adventure at Casa Quesada and I would love to share our adventures with you. There are two things you’ll probably find me writing about: camping and event planning.

Every now and then we like to escape Miami and get in touch with nature. We began our camping adventures in 2016. Since then, we have visited 8 states in our travel trailer. This is a hobby that I know is creating long-lasting memories for our girls and that is our main goal. These camping adventures are not only fun, but they are educational is many aspects. Our girls learn to be independent, to work as a team and how to make new friends.
On the blog, you will also find me posting about event planning. This passion of mine quickly escalated from hobby to business. I want to share with you all of the components it takes to celebrate life’s little moments. I plan to share DIYs and party decoration ideas for your next celebration!
Welcome Ailyn! Looking forward to read about your camping adventures ❤️
