Books are just the best, aren’t they?! As a lifelong bibliophile raising library kids, I realize I’m 100% biased. But over the years, I’ve discovered how helpful books can be throughout our parenting journey. Especially when it comes to helping our kids tackle new things or face things they may fear.

Like going to the dentist.
The big chair, the loud noises, the unfamiliar tools and the potential for pain can make us all anxious about visiting the dentist. But talking about what to expect and being as prepared as possible go a LONG way. And that’s where children’s books can be super helpful! When we share books with our kids, it’s like they get to watch a friend do it first. It also helps draw out questions they have and make them laugh about it!
