Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and chances are you will be sending the kiddos off to Grandma’s to enjoy some alone time with the hubby. Whether it’s a quick lunch date or a date night, getting out of our traditional “mom uniform” can be hard. If you’re anything like me, you are probably reaching for your favorite pair of black leggings and the first clean shirt from the pile of unfolded laundry. Not to mention it was a great Amazon find, under $20! It’s the perfect outfit for a night out on the town filled with yummy cocktails (in my case “mocktails”) and dancing.
Romantic Picnic
I love everything about this black and white smocked dress. The heart print gives a more subtle approach without having to wear the color red or pink and is totally bump-friendly. I’ve paired it with these cute black sneakers for a great “day date” option. This choice gives me a romantic picnic at the park vibe.
Bold and Dreamy
Next up is this dreamy floral print wrap dress. I’m not going to lie, I’ve had this dress in my closet for over 4 years. I found it at ZARA on major sale! What I love about the wrap dress style is that it is flattering on all body types. Add the perfect red lipstick you will have your hubby swooning instantly.
Cozy Up
Now if finding the time to actually make it out of the house doesn’t seem to happen, don’t stress! Cuddling up on the couch after the kids go to bed works too. I found these adorable pajamas to help you stay festive while cozying up and binge-watching Netflix with all your favorite snacks. At 8 months pregnant, I sized up for the bump, but will totally be wearing these year-round.
