Fireworks Shows in Miami: A Guide to Local 4th of July Events

Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Celebrating our country’s independence with family and friends; cranking up the BBQ and watching fireworks displays. If you plan on staying local and taking the family to watch fireworks, here are several events going on in Miami this 4th of July.

America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park

This event occurs every year and you can expect it to be lots of fun. This celebration starts at 4 pm with food trucks, vendors, and live music. There are plenty of things for the kiddos with a large kids’ area. The fireworks display will start at 9 pm and run for about 30 minutes.

Trump National Doral in Doral

Trump National Doral will host its annual Independence Day fireworks show at 6 pm. This is a free event; however, it is for Doral residents ONLY. You can still enjoy fireworks in the Doral area. Doral Glades Park will have a 10-minute fireworks show starting at 9:20 pm.

MISO 4th of July Celebration at Peacock Park

The Miami Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Eduardo Marturet will be joining the Fourth of July Celebration again this year at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. However, this year, instead of fireworks, there will be an amazing drone show. This is a free event for the public starting at 7:30 pm.

Miami Beach Fourth of July Fireworks

Come celebrate with Miami Beach’s Fire on the Fourth Festival. Head on to North Beach near 73rd Street and Collins Avenue, where there is a family zone filled with food trucks, live music, an outdoor disco, a magic show, and circus acts. The fireworks light up both North and South Beach, starting at 9 pm during a live orchestral concert.

You can also enjoy the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Independence Day Fireworks and Patriotic Concert. This event starts at 8:30 pm in Lummus Park with the MMF Symphony Orchestra and Alumni Division Singers led by Micheal Rossi. At 9 pm, you can enjoy the wonderful fireworks show all along Ocean Drive. You can watch this from anywhere in this area including your favorite café or rooftop. This is also a free event.

Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade

This year marks the 65th annual parade. The parade starts at 11 am sharp and will go down Crandon Boulevard from Harbor Drive to West Wood Drive. It is renowned for being The Best Lil’ Hometown Parade in South Florida! The parade ends around 1 pm and you can enjoy a BBQ on the Village Green. You can later head over to the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne and enjoy their fireworks show.

Town of Cutler Bay Fourth of July Celebration and Parade

This year marks the 56th annual celebration for this town. The celebration begins at 9 am with their parade. This is followed by a town picnic at Whispering Pines Park until noon. The picnic includes inflatables, snow cones, face painting, music, arts and crafts, and more. For parade participation rules and a map, please visit the Town’s website.

Race to the 4th in Homestead

This annual event takes place from 6-10 pm at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Admission is free and will include live music and entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and children’s rides! Fireworks will begin at sunset. This year there will be security checkpoints and all bags are subject to be searched.

Milander Park in Hialeah

The City of Hialeah will be having their annual Fourth of July Celebration presented by Sedanos. There will be food trucks and family-friendly entertainment. Located at Milander Park, this event begins at 4 pm and runs till 11 pm.

Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park

This is a sensory-friendly event that begins at 7 pm. Families can enjoy the fireworks display from the Biltmore. This is a free event however onsite parking does have a fee. Enjoy crafts, bubbles, and light-up games. You can even pack a picnic and enjoy all your favorite snacks.
