Hello there! I’m Kaegan Blomseth, and I’m thrilled to be a part of Miami Mom Collective. I’m a proud Miami native, born and raised in this vibrant city. With roots stemming from both Jamaican and Norwegian heritage, and with a Turkish husband, diversity and community are close to my heart. I’m the founder and director of a tutoring center and homeschool co-op.
Miami
Born and raised in this sunny paradise, I’ve spent many days soaking up the sun and dancing to the rhythm of the city. Childhood pals have turned into lifelong friends and family. A chance encounter 17 years ago in Sunset Place led to love and family with my husband, now a City of Miami detective. But hold onto your hats, because here comes the plot twist! Yours truly decided to plant roots of a different kind–business roots! Setting up my center in the very spot where my husband and I first crossed paths, because why not add a dash of serendipity to the mix? Miami has been the backdrop to my greatest adventures and the stage for my wildest dreams.
Mom
Seven years ago, my husband and I welcomed our son into the world, and he’s been the apple of our eye ever since. His laughter fills our home with joy, and his boundless heart reminds us of the beauty of unconditional love. Motherhood has been a transformative journey for me, deepening my commitment to supporting children, especially after our son encountered developmental hurdles. It ignited a passion within me to create accessible and effective resources for families facing similar challenges. I’m also a mom to a very feisty senior toy poodle, but she is a cherished member of our family.
Collective
For me, community is everything. It’s about coming together, supporting one another, and lifting each other up. That’s why I’m so excited to be a part of Miami Mom Collective. It’s a place where diverse voices are celebrated, and where we can exchange ideas, resources, and support. Through my work, I’ve been able to create a tight-knit family within my community, committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. I look forward to continuing this journey with you all at MMC!
